The LANCOM 1721+ VPN is a top model in the LANCOM line of highly integrated VPN networking components designed for secure site connectivity. The LANCOM 1721+VPN already has an ADSL2+ modem on board, so it can be connected directly to the Internet. Five IPsec VPN channels are featured as standard, which can be upgraded to 25 with the VPN Option. To ensure that admins benefit from convenience during configuration, VPNs can be setup within seconds with the help of user-friendly installation wizards such as LANCOM 1-Click-VPN. The free management tool LANmonitor provides a detailed overview of the entire network. Extensive security functions such as the integrated stateful-inspection firewall provide highest levels of security. Diverse connection options such as ISDN, USB 2.0 and the serial interface provide alternatives to IP for accessing the device.
