The LANCOM operating system LCOS and the corresponding management tools regularly provide free new functions to all LANCOM routers, access points and gateways.

NEW: Release update with standardized ADSL line code

The release update 7.56 from LANCOM now offers firmware with all of the current line-code variants for ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ in a single package: Consequently firmware with odd release numbers is no longer required for most LANCOM routers with integrated ADSL modem.

Please be aware that the transmission quality of ADSL depends on the properties of the line and the house service connection. Tests in provider laboratories cannot allow for every individual constellation. LCOS 7.5

LCOS 7.5 is a comprehensive major release adding an impressing number of new functions to all LANCOM Routers and Access Points. Especially the Media Proxy provides substancial enhancements for Call Transfer, e.g. when connecting subscribers behind different SIP providers.
The new version features a WLAN Controller upgrade that lifts the products to a new level of quality and functionality. Convince yourself of the advantages with the Feature Notes below.

The corresponding LANCOM Management Tools (LCMS) are available with LCOS 7.5 at the same time. A whole bunch of functions enhances setup and professional administration even of large scale installations of LANCOM Routers and Access Points.
