LANCOM 1751 UMTS makes the finals of the WBI Awards 2009

For the sixth year in a row, the Wireless Broadband Innovation Awards (WBI Awards) has proven to magnetically attract the manufacturers and service providers of wireless broadband solutions. With entries submitted from over 35 countries, a distinguished jury selected the most innovative products, services and companies. The prize-giving took place on April 20 in Dubai.

At the first attempt, our candidate for the „Best Wireless Broadband Security Innovation“ took place among the leaders. Along with three other products, our UMTS/ADSL2+ Router LANCOM 1751 UMTS was nominated for the coveted Security Prize.

For the LANCOM 1751 UMTS, this is the second award of a major innovation prize. Last year our router was awarded the "IT Innovation Prize" as the most innovative product in the "Storage/Networks" category.
