When connecting downstream PBXs to a point-to-point interface of the R&S®NC VoIP router, the number of possible ISDN terminal devices is only limited by the length of the extension number. With three-figure extension numbers, almost 1000 terminal devices can be connected, all of which can be managed as ISDN users in the R&S®NC VoIP router. Through an ISDN user entry with a # character as a placeholder for the telephone numbers, all ISDN terminal devices with their respective extension numbers can be set up as dynamic ISDN users.
Note: User entries that use # characters to map user groups cannot be used for registration at an upstream PBX. This registration always demands
a specific entry for the individual ISDN user.
