Specifies whether the WAN connection should be established if no LAN connection is available.
The feature is relevant for a scenario where the router is still in operation without a LAN connection, but management of the router should be possible via the WAN connection. In this scenario, the LAN-link detection has to be deactivated.
When LAN link detection is enabled, the router tears down the monitored peer if no LAN connection exists. If LAN link detection is disabled, the router establishes the monitored peer even if no LAN connection is present.
Important: As soon as a logical LAN interface (LAN‑X) is configured together with a WLAN interface (WLAN‑X‑Y) in a
bridge group and the SSID is enabled, the bridge group will have the status "Link-Up". LAN link detection is therefore only
partially functional when used in combination with a bridge group (with WLAN). The link status of an active WLAN SSID is always
"Up" as soon as the SSID is enabled—regardless of whether any clients are connected or not.
