Default parameters

For some parameters, default values can be defined centrally and these serve as reference default values for other parts of the configuration.

LANconfig: WLAN Controller > Profiles > Default country

• Default countryThe country in which the access points are to be operated. This information is used to define country-specific settings such as the permitted channels, etc.
  • Possible values:
    • Selection from the list of available countries
  • Default:
    • Europe

LANconfig: WLAN controller > AP configuration >

WEBconfig: LCOS menu tree > Setup > WLAN-Management > AP-Configuration

• WLAN-Interface 1Frequency of the first WLAN module. This parameter can also be used to deactivate the WLAN module.
• WLAN-Interface 2Frequency of the second WLAN module. This parameter can also be used to deactivate the WLAN module.
• EncryptionEncryption for the communication over the control channel. Without encryption the control data is exchanged as cleartext. In both cases authentication is by certificate.
