Aachen, March 06, 2017—LANCOM Systems, the leading German manufacturer of networking solutions for business customers and the public sector, launches the LANCOM GS-1326 as the first of their announced expanded range of switches. The high-performance layer-2 websmart switch is the ideal choice for networks in small and medium-sized enterprises where there is no need for a central management of the switches. The switch is equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 combo ports (Ethernet or fiber optic), and it offers a comprehensive range of security features. The switch is operated via a user-friendly Web interface. Able to network up to 26 connected devices, it offers an optimal price/performance ratio.

The LANCOM GS-1326 features 26 Gigabit Ethernet ports, of which two optionally operate as combo ports for TP or glass-fiber cables. The fanless design makes it ideal for operation directly in the office or other business premises.

It is a high-performance and versatile switch for small and medium-sized enterprises, and offers numerous security and management features: Link aggregation, 802.1X, (port-, single-, multi- and MAC-based), quality-of-service (QoS), as well as VLAN tagging as per IEEE 802.1q. What's more, the incoming and outgoing data traffic is prioritized with a wide range of QoS features. Thanks to the dual-stack implementation, the LANCOM GS-1326 operates in pure IPv4, pure IPv6, or in mixed networks, so it provides full future viability.

The LANCOM GS-1326, the optional SFP-SX module LANCOM SFP-SX-LC1 and the LX version LANCOM SFP-LX-LC1 are available from the end of March.
