LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option

Warranty extension to 5 years and delivery of a replacement device on the next business day

With the LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option you reduce network downtimes to a minimum. Due to the included advance replacement
a replacement device will be delivered to you as early as the next business day. In addition, we guarantee free-of-charge software maintenance via security updates until the End of Life status of the device. This way you benefit from advantages such as free-of-charge processing of repairs and the LANCOM service for two further years.

Extension of the manufacturer warranty

The LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option extends the manufacturer warranty from three to five years. So plan ahead and give your devices full protection for an additional 2 years.

Advance replacement including delivery on the next business day

The LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option offers the benefit of a replacement device including delivery on the next business day—for the best possible protection of your network.

Shorter downtimes

Thanks to the included advance replacement service, you reduce your downtime and your network is fully operational again within a minimum of time.

Customer-friendly processing of repairs

Even after the standard warranty has expired, the LANCOM Warranty Advance Option offers two extra years of convenient repairs processing and service, direct from the manufacturer.

Maximum planning reliability

The LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option entitles you to free-of-charge software maintenance via security updates until the End of Life status of the device – that means for another five years even after official announcement of the product's discontinuation.

Conditions

  • Registration of the option within the first three months after purchase of the LANCOM device
  • The LANCOM device which is to be covered by the Option must be fully functional and free of problems at the time when the option is registrated
  • The option is bound to a specific device (serial number) and is not transferable
  • When operating several LANCOM devices as an HA cluster, one option is required for each individual device in the cluster

Advance replacement conditions

  • If your LANCOM device fails, you will receive a replacement on the next working day (applies to metropolitan areas within the EU (excluding islands)).
  • LANCOM will have the defective device picked up by a courier service. Shipping is free of charge for you.
  • Advance replacement by the next working day only possible if the notification of the support case and the dispatch of the replacement
    device does not fall on a public holiday (Registration until 2 p.m.)
  • Parcels cannot be sent on the following days:
    Fixed days per year: Jan 1st New Year's Day, May 1st Labor Day, Oct 3rd German Unification Day, Nov 1st All Saints' Day,
    Dec 24th Christmas Eve, Dec 25th 1st Christmas Day, Dec 26th 2nd Christmas Day, Dec 31st New Year's Eve
    Variable days: Rose Monday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Corpus Christi

Scope of validity

Excluded are all LANCOM unmanaged switches, AirLancer products, and accessories. LANCOM Systems offers the LANCOM Warranty Advanced Option for metropolitan areas within the EU (excluding islands).
