LANCOM customers and partners get creative
LANCOM "Extraordinary" competition – Searching the most remarkable installation
Aachen, August 27, 2012—LANCOM's anniversary celebrations continue with an unusual competition. True to the motto "Extraordinary – how unusual is your network?" the specialist in network connectivity and wireless LAN calls on its customers and partners to present their most unusual installations based on WLAN or VPN. The winner can look forward to an exceptional day of adventure.
Eligible to take part in the competition are all LANCOM customers and partners. There are no limits to the imagination—even the most unusual installation has a chance of winning.
Ralf Koenzen, Managing Director of LANCOM Systems GmbH, explains the background to the competition: "Many of our products are operating to fulfill everyday needs, but some are operating in projects and installations which are so extraordinary that it never ceases to amaze us. This campaign will show how varied and flexible LANCOM solutions can be."
The competition starts on August 28. Contestants can submit their entries to the LANCOM website as plain text, as a photo report, or as a video. Submission deadline is October 31st, 2012. A LANCOM jury will then choose the three finalists. From November 12 until 30, visitors to the LANCOM website or Facebook fanpage can vote for their favorite finalists. The winner is the project or entrant with the most votes. The winner will be officially announced on December 4, 2012.
The winner of the competition can look forward to an exciting and unusual day of adventure organized by LANCOM. The adventure day will be organized in consultation with the winner. The costs and the entire organization will be covered by LANCOM.
