Responsibility in the digital age
We are convinced that the responsibility for our corporate actions extends beyond our core business. We want to shape this actively and with foresight. For our daily cooperation, it is important to us to continue the original "LANCOM Spirit" and to always remain true to our values. The foundation of this corporate culture is formed by the LANCOM Code of Conduct.
LANCOM Code of Conduct
Integrity is the basis of our corporate strategy. What this means for LANCOM and its employees is described in our binding Code of Conduct, which provides concrete instructions for day-to-day work.
Purchasing sustainability
Supply chain: Labor and social standards
We are committed to compliance with labor and social standards in our global supply chains. In doing so, we are guided by the Declaration of Commitment for Public IT Procurement, which the digital association BITKOM and the Procurement Office of the Interior (BeschA) developed in a joint initiative. As part of our supplier management system, we use a document catalog to create transparency from the final production site to the component.
Our suppliers
We expect new suppliers to sign our LANCOM Supplier Code of Conduct as a binding commitment or to provide evidence of appropriate environmental and occupational safety management in the form of ISO certifications or audits.
Conflict minerals
Due to their material properties, gold, tin, tantalum, and tungsten are used in electronics products without alternative. We are committed to sustainable and socially responsible procurement. Please read our statement on conflict minerals
The Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) with origin information is available upon request.
Cooperation for supply chain qualification
For us as a manufacturer of network hardware, sourcing is a key linchpin of sustainability and responsibility. In 2020, we got the chance to accompany the new eLearning offer for "Sustainable Procurement Professional" of the JARO Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization e.V. as a partner from the business community. In the exchange, we received a lot of inspiration and knowledge to improve our supply chains - especially with regard to labor and social standards.
The eLearning course provides basic principles and tools for developing sustainability strategies for procurement and integrating sustainability aspects into procurement processes and supply chains. We offer selected strategic suppliers the opportunity to participate in the program.
