Interaction
Please first select the appropriate product category so that the correct knowledge sources can be used. Always ask only one question and wait for the response. Longer dialogues can reduce answer quality. For follow-up questions, please restate the question in full or start a new session when changing topics. The chatbot is suitable for basic questions – configuration questions are only covered to a limited extent. Please avoid off-topic questions as well as inquiries about LANCOM products or firmware that are no longer current.
Wording
Clearly and simply worded queries (prompts) lead to better response quality. Provide sufficient context so that the questions can be answered better and completely according to your expectations. It is best to formulate questions rather than instructions. If you want to include product names in your questions, make sure they are spelled completely and correctly (e. g. inclusive hyphens).
Data protection
The responses of the AI chatbot are generated automatically and do not constitute binding advice. Chat histories are stored in anonymized form for three months without any reference to the user. Questions are evaluated for quality improvement by our employees specialized in AI training. Nevertheless, please do not enter any personal, sensitive, or confidential data.
Feedback
Please note that the use of AI-powered language models can sometimes result in statements that sound plausible but are incorrect. However, the more you use the Digital Assistant and provide feedback on its functionality and response quality, the better we can support you. We therefore encourage you to share your feedback on the answers (thumbs up / down) so we can continuously improve.
For the solution, we rely on a provider with a platform developed in Europe, including secure data processing and exclusive use of European cloud providers. The large language model (LLM) used is ChatGPT-4o mini, hosted in Europe (MS Azure).
The solution provider is a member of the German KI Bundesverband, a dedicated community of companies and experts committed to the future of artificial intelligence in Europe.
The association aims to promote AI technology in line with European values and democratic principles and to ensure digital sovereignty in Europe.
