Software upgrade to expand the number of access points or WLAN routers managed by the WLAN controller
The WLC Upgrade Option enables you to increase the number of access points and WLAN routers that the controller is able to manage. This is a major advantage for growing networks: There is no need to purchase any additional hardware, and existing WLAN controllers are easily upgraded with additional device licenses.
- Option that upgrades WLAN controllers to manage up to 1,000 access points or WLAN routers
- Available as the WLC AP Upgrade +6 option for the management of additional 6 access points and WLAN routers, additive to 12 devices (1800 and 1700 series), 30 devices (1900 series), or 60 devices (2100EF and WLC-60)
