As an all-in-one package for fast and highly available SD-WAN site networking, plus integrated dual-band concurrent Wi-Fi 6, the LANCOM 1803VAW-5G uses any Internet technology available at the site – whether VDSL, 5G, or fiber optics. The wide variety of interfaces and the ability to use multiple lines at the same time ensure maximum flexibility and reliability, even in the case of high data volumes and business-critical applications. In combination with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC), the LANCOM 1803VAW-5G enables automated network management that saves valuable resources such as costs and time. Fast Wi-Fi 6 and the connection of telephony components round off the overall package.

Encrypted Auto VPNs, High Scalability and Advanced Mesh VPNs, Dynamic Path Selection, and active/active WAN with intelligent load balancing ensure that business-critical applications always use the optimal transmission path. In addition, the LANCOM Security Essentials option further enhances security through centralized content filtering and URL blocking – for resilient and future-proof site networking.
Flexible WAN connectivity via VDSL, fiber, and 5G
Stay flexible at every location and prepared for any access scenario: Thanks to versatile WAN interfaces, you can use VDSL over existing copper lines, fiber-optics for higher bandwidth and stability, or integrated 5G cellular communications including eSIM support for primary operation, intelligent backup scenarios, and hybrid active/active architectures, depending on availability. Supported are VDSL Supervectoring up to 300 Mbps with backward compatibility to VDSL2 and ADSL2+, fiber-optic connectivity via GPON/AON (transceiver modules available separately), 5G as well as Gigabit Ethernet for connecting external provider modems.
Reliable integration of wireless clients
Mobile work devices gain secure, direct access to the network via the Wi-Fi router – ideal for home offices and small businesses. For stable Wi-Fi coverage without additional hardware, this device supports Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and connects wireless clients in parallel on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Data rates of up to 1,200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz are possible.
