Secure SD-WAN over VDSL, fiber, and Wi-Fi 6 incl. VoIP
Thanks to dual-band concurrent Wi-Fi 6 technology, the SD-WAN gateway LANCOM 1803VAW integrates mobile devices into the corporate network in parallel in the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. The integrated VDSL modem and the optional fiber-optic connection provide the necessary high-performance basis for fast Internet even with high data volumes. Secure LANCOM IPSec VPN and SD-WAN connect company sites and mobile employees, making the LANCOM 1803VAW a high-performance node for small and medium-sized businesses and branch office infrastructures. In combination with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC), you automate and centralize your network management to save valuable resources such as time and money.

With Secure SD-WAN, you can centrally manage and protect your entire network: via the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC), you define global security and access policies that are rolled out fully automatically and continuously monitored – from headquarters to branch offices. This significantly accelerates rollouts, configurations, and updates.
Encrypted Auto VPNs, High Scalability and Advanced Mesh VPNs, Dynamic Path Selection, and active/active WAN with intelligent load balancing ensure that business-critical applications always use the optimal transmission path. In addition, the LANCOM Security Essentials option further enhances security through centralized content filtering and URL blocking – for resilient and future-proof site networking.
Flexible WAN connectivity via VDSL and fiber
Stay flexible at every location and prepared for any access scenario: Thanks to versatile WAN interfaces, you can use VDSL over existing copper lines or fiber-optics for higher bandwidth and stability, depending on availability. Supported are VDSL Supervectoring up to 300 Mbps with backward compatibility to VDSL2 and ADSL2+, fiber-optic connectivity via GPON/AON (transceiver modules available separately), as well as Gigabit Ethernet for connecting external provider modems.
Reliable integration of wireless clients
Mobile work devices gain secure, direct access to the network via the Wi-Fi router – ideal for home offices and small businesses. For stable Wi-Fi coverage without additional hardware, this device supports Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and connects wireless clients in parallel on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Data rates of up to 1,200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz are possible.
