LANCOM Systems Appoints New Director Field Marketing
Aachen, August 26, 2013—LANCOM Systems, the specialist in network connectivity and wireless LAN, announces the latest addition to its sales and marketing team. Forty-one year-old Silke Schappner joined the LANCOM management team on August 1 and reports directly to Stefan Herrlich, Managing Director at LANCOM.
A graduate in Media Management, she possesses extensive international experience in marketing and looks back on several years in management positions in the IT and telecommunications industry. Before joining LANCOM, she was active in international marketing management at CooperVision and GN Netcon, among others.
In her new position as Director of Field Marketing, she is responsible for the worldwide channel and end-customer marketing. This includes the responsibility for the LANCOM partner program LANvantage, advertising and media planning and its implementation as well as lead generation for the LANCOM partner base.
