New LANCOM VPN Client for Windows 10

Version 3.02 for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows from Vista to Windows 10

Aachen, August 26, 2015—LANCOM Systems, the leading German manufacturer of networking solutions for the commercial and public sectors, presents the new version 3.02 of their IPSec-based Advanced VPN Client. The latest version from LANCOM offers new features and improvements that simplify the handling for administrators and users alike.

It is now easier for users to switch between WLAN and LAN, for example. If a user, who is connected to the company network by WLAN, inserts a LAN cable into their notebook, the WLAN adapter deactivates and the LAN connection is used instead. Conversely, removing the LAN cable results in the WLAN adapter being enabled again. Network data flow remains unequivocal and there is no waste of IP addresses.

Administrators will find the enhancements to the logging function particularly useful. Two functions have been implemented that greatly simplify the search for keywords when analyzing the log text.

This client works with all current 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. Consequently, even companies with heterogeneous infrastructures can work with a single, universal client to manage remote access. The benefit: Lower costs for administrators, the user help desk, and on training.

The LANCOM Advanced VPN Client version 3.02 supports 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, and it is available now. For customers already using version 3.0, the update is free of charge. For users of the Advanced VPN Client version 2.2 or 2.3 an upgrade license is available.

A 30-day demo version is available for download from the LANCOM website:
