Aachen, June 29, 2022— Starting now, founders and young companies can submit their innovative ideas for the digital future to the LANCOM Systems start-up competition. The German network manufacturer, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is specifically supporting young digital talent with this promotion. Young companies have the chance to win modern network technology with a total value of EUR 20,000. They can present their business model in a video pitch by August 31.
Itself a start-up 20 years ago, LANCOM knows about the challenges that young companies face in those first few years. In its anniversary year, LANCOM wants to help the new generation of entrepreneurs build their businesses with networking technology so that they can quickly bring their innovative digitalization ideas to fruition.
Ralf Koenzen, founder and Managing Director at LANCOM Systems, speaks from experience: “Getting a young company off the ground is a 24-hour job. Investing in professional and secure IT technology sometimes falls by the wayside. Our competition aims to offer support to start-ups and get them connected with trusted network solutions Made in Germany. This puts founders on the safe side right from the start so they can focus fully on growing their business.”
Distinguished jury awards prizes worth EUR 20,000
Interested parties can submit their business ideas as a video pitch by August 31, 2022. The five most convincing submissions will be invited to a virtual jury session in October and can present their business model there.
The jury is made up of start-up insider and President of the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand Dr. Oliver Grün, tech influencer and business angel Sophia Tran, and LANCOM founder and Managing Director Ralf Koenzen.
Up for grabs are LANCOM networking solutions such as routers, Wi-Fi access points, firewall solutions or VPN clients, with a total value of EUR 20,000:
- 1st place: EUR 10,000 in hardware or software from LANCOM Systems
- 2nd place: EUR 7,000 in hardware or software from LANCOM Systems
- 3rd place: EUR 3,000 in hardware or software from LANCOM Systems
The award ceremony will be preceded by consultation on the existing network technology.
