Würselen/Aachen, Germany, January 30, 2023—German network and security manufacturer LANCOM Systems again took a podium place in the latest “Professional User Rating” from the analyst firm techconsult. LANCOM received top marks for Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions in Germany's largest user survey on IT security, so defending their leading position for the sixth time in a row. With top placings in the ratings both for solutions and for manufacturers, LANCOM is at the top of the diamond and received the “Champion” award.
For this independent study, techconsult surveyed over 2,000 security-solution experts in 2022 with regard to their satisfaction with IT solutions on the market, and their providers.
How security experts rate LANCOM's VPN solutions
In the category Solution Benefits, LANCOM took the top rating in a competitive comparison of VPN solutions, achieving “very good” ratings for compliance with legal and company-specific requirements, the certification standards fulfillment, and damage reduction. The experts surveyed are also convinced by the range of features with LANCOM VPN solutions. They gave very good ratings for the QoS and logging functions and the supported encryption standards. Due to this outstanding performance, the experts surveyed would at any time purchase and recommend LANCOM's VPN solutions again.
LANCOM also scores as a manufacturer
In the Manufacturer category, too, LANCOM leads the field in the Professional User Rating. The innovative ability of LANCOM and their service and support were particularly convincing here. In a comparison of innovative capabilities, the network specialist from Würselen received the top rating. Highlighted aspects included the innovative and continuously improved products as well as the integration of external technologies. In the Service and Support subcategory, LANCOM also ranked first. Security experts appreciate the availability of the telephone hotline, the competence of the service personnel, and the rapid problem solving. For application experts, LANCOM is a reliable partner who keeps their promises.
