Caroline Rixen takes up responsibility for international PR at LANCOM Systems

 

 

Aachen, March 14, 2019 – The German supplier of network infrastructure LANCOM Systems has appointed Caroline Rixen as its new International PR Manager. As part of the Corporate Communications team under Pamela Krosta-Hartl, she is taking over the position from Kristian Haizmann.

 

In her function, the 35-year-old is to further develop LANCOM’s press activities in European countries outside of Germany and increase visibility of the LANCOM Systems brand. She will also be the contact for the local press in the area of Aachen and will represent the long-standing company spokesperson, Eckhart Traber, in his absence.

 

A former student of Romance Philology, in addition to her passion for languages, Caroline brings with her several years of experience as a PR consultant. Her most recent position was Senior Account Manager at the Munich PR agency Helga Bailey International (HBI). Here, she was responsible for the communications of international companies, such as network providers and other enterprises in the IT and ITC sector, across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

 

Originally from the Rhineland area, Caroline likes to spend her spare time touring cities, and looks forward to exploring the Euregio from Aachen. Besides, she enjoys jogging or cycling in the countryside.
