Aachen, March 04, 2020—The German network infrastructure supplier LANCOM Systems has appointed Stefan Schäfer as Vice President, Cloud. The 53-year-old took on this newly created position on February 1 and is responsible for the further development of solutions for cloud-managed networks and software-defined networking based on the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC). He arrives from the telecommunications supplier Huawei, where he was responsible for cloud marketing in Germany.

The graduate computer scientist looks back on more than 25 years of experience in various positions in the IT and telecommunications industry.
