LANCOM Systems and macmon secure cooperate on Network Access Control (NAC)
Aachen, May 17, 2021—The German network infrastructure supplier LANCOM Systems and macmon secure GmbH from Berlin have entered into a technology partnership. macmon offers comprehensive Network Access Control (NAC) solutions that effectively protect networks from unauthorized access. The cooperation between the two German manufacturers ensures optimal interaction between the NAC solution and the LANCOM network infrastructure components.
Both manufacturers have performed extensive interoperability tests to ensure compatibility and the seamless interaction of the macmon solution with the switches and WLAN access points from LANCOM. This creates the core basis for an efficient, identity-based security architecture “Made in Germany” in wired and wireless networks.
The macmon NAC solution detects and monitors network access at companies and organizations to protect from unauthorized access and provide full transparency over the entire network environment at all times. Important rules are adjusted automatically, administrators have a lower workload, and the risk of potential attacks is significantly reduced.
The partnership between LANCOM and macmon secure provides an easy-to-implement, scalable solution for networks of all sizes and degrees of complexity. There is a special focus on security-sensitive areas such as healthcare, administrative networks, research institutions, universities, and industry.
